Read MoreIn order to provide employment opportunities to the tribal women in the neighbourhood, the college set up an Employment Training Centre at Ondayangady in 2006. The Centre was shifted to Cheloor near Kartikulam in 2008. Now the centre functions at Appappara tribal village. Sewing machines were given to tribal women under the auspices of the Adoration Sisters at Appappara near Thirunelli as part of the Bishop George Njaralakkat Endowment Scheme. The volunteers of the NSS frequent the Centre and assist the program. The activities are coordinated by Ms Tancy VS and Sr Elizebath M J.
