Read MoreThe Chemistry Department has a well-equipped, well-maintained, spacious, and solar power-supported laboratory with all necessary infrastructures for graduate-level experiments. Safety rules are strictly followed in the lab and individual work space and storage space are allotted to students. Separate areas are provided for the chemical storage room, weighing room, computer room and Kipp’s apparatus. Regular organic, inorganic, chromatographic and physical chemistry experiments and graduate-level projects are carried out in the laboratory. Instrumental facilities in the lab include Elico Microprocessor Water quality analyzer, Thermo scientific Eutech Expert Digital pH meter, Systonic photoelectric colorimeter, Digital potentiometer, Thin Layer Chromatography apparatus, Hot air oven, SHIMADSU electronic digital balance and Double Distillation unit.
